Sedefka Beck

Sedefka Beck is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of economics. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Economics at Valparaiso University since August 2011, Sedefka is the founder and adviser of the Certificate in Applied Econometrics and Data Science Foundations using SAS. Previously, Sedefka held roles such as Assistant Professor of Economics at Discover Financial Services and various positions at HSBC and Citigroup, including AVP in both Marketing Strategy and Credit Risk Management. Sedefka's educational background includes an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois Chicago.
