Reginald is an accountant, inventor, systems engineer, entrepreneur, student of economic history, and passionate advocate for investors trying to build and protect their investments. He was granted a U.S. Patent for a “Method for assigning precise meaning to market sentiment”. Kauffman FastTrac® TechVenture™ awarded him with “Best Business Idea” for the Valspresso, Inc. business plan.
Before Valspresso, Reginald established GRC Assurance, LLC which specializes in providing internal controls, risk management, regulatory compliance, and strategic consulting services to government agencies and private sector entities. At GRC Assurance, Reginald played important roles in providing internal controls and risk management services to the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. Reginald was also a licensed Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Global Private Client Group, where he gained first-hand experience advising individual investors.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Reginald earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce/Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. He has done graduate studies in Accounting, Tax, and the Legal Dimensions of International Business and Investment Transactions in the UK, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
