João Quental Gomes

João Quental Gomes has a diverse work experience in the technology field. João started their career at Universidade Lusófona as a researcher on Internet Architectures and Networks from July 2010 to August 2011. João then worked at CPI Retail as a Software Engineer from September 2011 to August 2018, where they utilized .NET Frameworks and SQL Server 2008 to develop and maintain software solutions for the retail business. Currently, they are working at Valtech, starting in September 2018. At Valtech, they held the role of Lead Software Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Cloud Architect & Tech Lead in September 2021. Valtech focuses on helping B2B companies grow in the digital world through the creation of commerce and service platforms.

João Quental Gomes completed their Licentiate degree in Computer Engineering at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa from 2007 to 2011. João then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering and Information Systems at the same university from 2011 to 2013.
