Ernst Swart

Ernst Swart is an experienced professional in the mining and processing industry, currently serving as the Head of Concentrators at Anglo American since August 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing the health of discipline and technical support across concentrators for various commodities such as Iron Ore, Diamonds, Platinum, Copper, and Metallurgical Coal. Previously, Ernst held positions such as Head of Processing: Southern Africa and Head of Technical Solutions within the Anglo American Group, as well as Process Manager at Kumba, Lead Engineer at Anglo Platinum, and Technical Superintendent at Modikwa Platinum. Educational qualifications include a B.Eng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pretoria, a Management Development Program from WITS Business School, and an MBA from GIBS.
