Joe Byrne

Joe Byrne is an experienced Geographic Information System (GIS) professional currently serving as a GIS Specialist at Valterra Platinum since March 2025. Previous roles include Geomatics Analyst at Anglo American from July 2021 to February 2025, GIS Specialist at Esri South Africa between May 2016 and June 2021, and GIS Administrator at Fugro Survey B.V. from August 2013 to February 2016, where responsibilities included managing offshore construction GIS data and engaging in local skills development.
