Lesiba Mashishi

Lesiba Mashishi currently serves as the Communications Officer Operations for Corporate Affairs and Sustainable Impact at Valterra Platinum, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this, Lesiba worked as a Chemist at Anglo American from February 2023 to September 2025, focusing on optimizing technical operations and auditing sampling procedures. Lesiba's earlier experience at Anglo American includes a role as a Chemistry/Metallurgy Trainee from February 2018 to November 2022, where responsibilities involved supporting chemists and metallurgists while gaining exposure to process control in precious metal group (PGM) processing. Lesiba holds a Postgraduate Degree in Materials Engineering obtained from the University of Johannesburg in 2022, a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science completed in 2021, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Chemical Science at the same institution.
