Tito Cacho

Tito Cacho is an experienced mining professional currently serving as the General Manager of Operations at Anglo American since September 2018. Prior to this role, Tito held the position of Mining Director at Hudbay Minerals Inc. from October 2016 to October 2018 and at First Quantum Minerals LTD from June 2014 to October 2016. Tito's earlier experience includes a tenure as Mining & Construction Manager at GOLD FIELDS from January 2011 to May 2014 and Operations Manager at Aura Minerals Inc. for the San Andres Mine in Honduras. Additional roles include Senior Mine Production Engineer at BHP Billiton and Senior Drill & Blast Engineer at Anglo American, as well as Senior Mine Operations Engineer at Newmont Mining Corporation, where various responsibilities were undertaken from January 1998 to June 2006. Tito holds an MBA from EOI Business School and a degree in Mining Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
