Chip Tanner

Chip Tanner serves as the Sr. Director of Enterprise Applications at Valvoline Global Operations since August 2023. With extensive experience in leading IT transformations, Chip previously held significant roles including Global Director of Business Transformation at Glatfelter, overseeing major SAP implementations and M&A IT integrations, and Global PMO Director for JELD-WEN, where leadership in SAP S4 HANA implementation was pivotal for the organization. Prior experience includes leading SAP implementations at Brighthouse Financial, managing IT infrastructure at Cardinal Logistics, and serving as CIO for SSI Schaefer Systems International North America. Chip has also contributed to strategic initiatives at Lockheed Martin and was a founding CIO for TransworldMed, culminating in a successful exit strategy. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Leadership from Pfeiffer University, Chip brings a wealth of knowledge in enterprise applications, business process optimization, and strategic IT management.
