Marcos Gonzalez

Marcos Gonzalez is the current founder and managing partner at VamosVentures. Marcos has over fifteen years of experience in product strategy and marketing, with a focus on the US Theirpanic market.

Marcos began their career in 2000 as the co-founder of an online equipment rental platform. In 2003, they joined Health Net, Inc. as the Director of Product Strategy. There, they were responsible for product and market strategy for the California Commercial market. Marcos oversaw a product team to analyze the competitive landscape and market trends, and implemented a new product portfolio for the California market. Additionally, they supported the Southern California specialty team in developing products and services specifically for the US Theirpanic market.

In 2009, Marcos joined MCG+Company as Managing Partner. Marcos was with the company for six years, during which time they provided strategic guidance and marketing expertise to clients in a variety of industries.

Most recently, Marcos has been with Darby Private Equity as Senior Vice President since 2015. In this role, they are responsible for leading investments in growth-stage healthcare companies.

Marcos Gonzalez attended Brown University and earned a B.A. in Urban Studies. Marcos then attended Harvard Business School and earned an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General.
