Brad A. Barbaza

Brad A. Barbaza is a Network and Systems Administrator at Van Buren Township since August 2022, with extensive experience in network administration and systems management. Previously, Brad served as a Senior Network Administrator for the City of Dearborn from February 2012 to August 2022, focusing on automating solutions to meet the needs of various city departments while managing system and network administration for over 1,500 employees across 30 sites. As Chairperson of the City’s Security Advisory Board, Brad reviewed cybersecurity initiatives and led the Dearborn Police Department's Information and Technology Bureau, providing IT guidance for over 300 personnel. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Patrol Officer for the same department. Brad holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast and Cable Production and Occupational Psychology from Western Michigan University and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Henry Ford College.
