Marc Abdilla

Marc Abdilla currently serves as a Police Lieutenant for Van Buren Township since February 2024. With a career spanning several decades, Marc has been a dedicated Police Officer for the Van Buren Township Department of Public Safety since November 1996 and held the position of Patrol Sergeant from May 2013 to February 2024. In addition to law enforcement duties, Marc has been an integral part of the Wayne County Regional Police Academy as a Lead Use of Force and Lead Firearms Instructor since January 1998. Marc has also contributed to the Van Buren Township Fire Department as a Fire Lieutenant since January 2006. Educationally, Marc attended the University of Michigan from 1992 to 1995.
