Antonio Pontiero

Antonio Pontiero has over 15 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry. Antonio currently serves as the Divisional Director of Housing at Van Elle.

Pontiero began their career at Portakabin Ltd in 2006, where they eventually became the EBS Head for UK & Europe. In this role, they were responsible for acquisitions & mergers, full P&L, business growth, sales management, project management, site & manufacturing management, new product development, business development, product / technical development, and improved business operating margin performance.

In 2014, Pontiero joined Van Elle Limited as the Main Board & Divisional Managing Director for the Housing UK & Scotland Divisions. In this role, they led all aspects of the multi-million pound Housing Division, tripled turnover in under 2 years, and managed 120 staff including Sales & Marketing, Multi Site Manufacturing Management, Finance, Operations, Estimating, Technical, and Site Staff.

Most recently, Pontiero served as the Divisional Managing Director for Ground Engineering at Cairnhill Structures from July 2020 to February 2021. In this role, they had full P&L responsibility and oversaw manufacturing and site operations.

Antonio Pontiero received a BA Honours in Marketing from the University of the West of Scotland, and an MSc in International Business from Glasgow Caledonian University. Antonio also has a SQA from Hamilton College Scotland.
