David Alewaters

David Alewaters is a Cyber Security Expert currently employed at Egov Select since December 2023. Previously, David worked as a Security Professional at Van Hool from September 2022 to November 2023, engaging in ISO 27001 compliance, cyber security projects, and vulnerability scanning. As a Consulting System Engineer at NRB, David contributed to workstation hardening and migration projects for Engie Nucleair. David also served as a Security Auditor for Gemeente & OCMW Zemst, conducting external and internal penetration tests, phishing tests, and engaging with the organization's CISO/DPO. Prior roles include positions as a System Engineer at Cheops Technology, ESAS, and a System Administrator at Dekeyser Thornton. Through a strong educational background, including a postgraduate degree in Computer and Cyber Crime Professional from HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen, David gained expertise in various cybersecurity disciplines, enhancing technical capabilities in system and network management.
