Marcel Pronk

Marcel Pronk has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Marcel started their career at Robeco Asset Management in 2001, where they worked as a Portfolio Manager, focusing on structured investment funds. In this role, they were responsible for setting up new funds and executing exotic equity derivatives.

In 2005, Marcel joined ING Financial Markets as the Director of Structured Product Sales for the Netherlands, Nordics, UK, and Ireland. In this position, they worked in the Product for Private Investors team, developing, distributing, and servicing structured products for private investors. Marcel collaborated with key distribution channels, such as the ING Private Wealth Network, Retail Banks, and Family Offices.

Currently, Marcel Pronk is associated with Van Lanschot Kempen, where they hold two roles. As the Director of Treasury Sales in Structured Products and FX since January 2023, they are responsible for sales in these areas. Additionally, they also serve as the Director of Securities Marketing for Structured Products, a role they have been in since October 2017.

Marcel Pronk attended the University of Amsterdam from 1996 to 2001, earning a Msc in Economics. Prior to that, they attended Zandvliet from 1990 to 1996. In 2019, Marcel obtained the DSI Institutional Investments Advisor certification from DSI.
