Raveen Raghoenath

Raveen Raghoenath has extensive work experience in the field of audit and IT advisory. Raveen currently serves as the Lead Expert Audit at Van Lanschot Kempen. Prior to that, they worked at Aegon Nederland as a Senior IT Auditor from November 2019 to October 2021. Raveen also has experience at Baker Tilly Nederland, where they served as a Senior Consultant IT Advisory from January 2017 to October 2019, and as a Junior IT Auditor from September 2014 to December 2016. Raveen also worked as a Research Associate at Nationale-Nederlanden from December 2017 to April 2018.

Raveen Raghoenath completed a Bachelor's degree in Business IT & Management at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2014. From 2015 to 2018, Raveen pursued a Master of Science in IT Auditing at TIAS School for Business and Society, obtaining a MSc / drs degree in IT Auditing. In 2019, Raveen obtained a certification as a Register EDP-auditor from NOREA, the professional organization of IT-auditors. In 2022, Raveen achieved a certification in Effectenbedrijf with a grade of 8.5 from NIBE-SVV, the training institute for financial services. Raveen is also planning to acquire the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2 in 2023.
