Rebecca Plumbley is an experienced professional with a diverse background in management, urban design, and education. Currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the CEO at the Van Leer Foundation since June 2023, Rebecca previously held the position of Business Manager at MECCA Rotterdam. Additionally, experience includes roles as an Urban Design Intern at WeLoveTheCity and various tutoring positions at the University of Cape Town, overseeing tutorial sessions and providing support to undergraduate and honours students. Notable internship experiences with ASIYE ETAFULENI involved contributions to COVID-19 prevention efforts and research on breastfeeding practices among informal workers. Academic qualifications include a Master's in City and Regional Planning, an Honours degree in City Planning, and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Cape Town.
