Jamie Leonard

Jamie Leonard is an experienced professional in automation and software with a strong background in product management and engineering. Currently serving as Automation & Software Specialist and Automation Product Manager at Van Meter Inc. since July 2021, Jamie specializes in PLC, HMI, and Motion Control. Prior experience includes roles as Factory Automation Engineer at John Deere Ottumwa Works from November 2011 to July 2021, Electrical Engineer at Katecho, Inc. from March 2010 to November 2011, and Electrical Controls Designer at Pella Corporation from April 2000 to February 2010. Jamie holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Robotics and Automation from Indian Hills Community College, obtained between 1989 and 1991.
