Mekkah Husamadeen

Mekkah Husamadeen is currently an Associate at Van Ness Feldman LLP since December 2023, following a role as a Law Clerk at the same firm. Previous experiences include serving as the National Attorney General for the National Black Law Students Association from April 2023 to April 2024 and as a Legal Extern at YWCA USA. Mekkah has also completed summer associate positions at Van Ness Feldman LLP, MG+M The Law Firm, and served as a Law Clerk for the Louisiana Department of Justice. While studying at LSU Law, Mekkah held multiple leadership roles, including Student Clinician for the Parole and Reentry Clinic and President of the Black Law Students Association. Mekkah previously worked as Chief Operating Officer at The One Umbrella, Limited, and as an Executive Legal Assistant at Van Ness Feldman LLP. Mekkah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Communications from Howard University and is pursuing a Doctor of Law at LSU Law.
