Alberto Nocentini

Alberto Nocentini is a Project Engineer specializing in offshore wind projects at Van Oord since September 2022, where responsibilities include project preparation and execution while managing stakeholder relationships. Prior to this role, Nocentini was a Scientific Researcher at TU Delft from December 2021 to September 2022, contributing to the NortH2 project focused on hydrogen production and its integration with offshore wind. Nocentini also served as a Research Fellow at the REASE Research Group at Università degli Studi di Firenze, where work included aerodynamic and structural design of wind turbines and numerical modeling. An internship at the same university in 2020 provided foundational experience in the field. Nocentini holds a Master of Science in Energy Engineering from Università degli Studi di Firenze and has also studied at Ghent University through the Erasmus+ programme. Nocentini earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Firenze.
