Florian van Den Broek

Florian van den Broek is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the offshore and maritime industries. Currently serving as Manager Design and Engineering at Van Oord since August 2023, Florian has previously held key management roles at Royal IHC, including Manager Engineering for Hopper Dredgers & Offshore Vessels and Manager Design & Estimation. Other positions include Managing Director at IHC Offshore Systems and Project Manager at IHC Offshore & Marine. Earlier career experience includes roles at SBM IMODCO and van der Giessen - de Noord. Florian holds an MSc in Engineering Management from the University of Glasgow and a BSc in Naval Architecture from Hogeschool Haarlem, complemented by a VWO degree from Veluws College.
