Katja Otten

Katja Otten serves as the CFO of Van Oord since January 2024 and has been a Commissioner at Batenburg Techniek N.V. since April 2021. Previously, Katja was the CFO at APM Terminals from 2017 to December 2023, leading finance operations for a global terminal operator with 75 terminals worldwide. Prior experience includes a finance managerial role for Integrated Gas Projects at Shell Global Solutions Malaysia from 2005 to 2016, overseeing significant projects including the Prelude Project, a multibillion-dollar initiative. Katja's extensive educational background includes programs in executive leadership and strategic thinking from institutions such as the Centre for Creative Leadership, IMD, INSEAD, and Erasmus University Rotterdam, where Katja earned a degree in Business Economics.
