Simone da Costa Teixeira

Simone Da Costa Teixeira is a seasoned professional in the engineering and offshore industry, currently serving as Superintendent Offshore Wind at Van Oord since April 2025. Prior to this role, Simone worked as a Marine Operations Engineer at CorPower Ocean from February 2021 to April 2025, and as Assistant Offshore Construction Manager at Saipem from June 2018 to February 2021, where responsibilities included leading site construction activities and ensuring compliance with QHSE standards on complex subsea projects. Earlier experience includes a position as Mechanical Engineer at Edifícios Saudáveis Consultores, focusing on international and national green building certification systems, and a curricular internship evaluating energy performance in building design. Simone holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and has participated in international mobility programs at the University of Macau and through the ERASMUS Program in Greece.
