Scott Gaynor

Scott Gaynor is an accomplished professional in the furniture industry, currently serving as VP of Upholstery and VP of Upholstery Product Development at VAN THIEL & CO since January 2016. Previously, Scott held the position of President at SIG Global from January 2010 to January 2016, focusing on sourcing furniture projects for both residential and hospitality sectors with a global reach. Additionally, Scott was the President of Scott Gaynor Furniture from January 2011 to January 2014, a company dedicated to high-end furniture design and manufacturing. Early in the career, Scott worked at Jeffco Furniture as Director of Sourcing and Product Development and Director of Design from 2004 to December 2009. Academic credentials include a BA in American Studies from Tufts University and a BFA in Sculpture and Design from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, both obtained between 1998 and 2003.
