Alexandra Smith

Alexandra Smith, GISP, is an experienced GIS professional currently serving as the Georgia GIS Team Lead and Senior GIS Analyst at VHB since August 2023. Previously, Alexandra worked at the St. Johns River Water Management District as a Hydrologist II, where responsibilities included conducting technical reviews of Consumptive Use Permit applications and performing hydrologic and water quality analyses. Prior roles include Staff Geologist at HSW Engineering, Inc., where environmental site assessments were conducted, and various positions at The Ohio State University, including Audiovisual Event/Shift Lead and Student Research Assistant. Alexandra holds a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from The Ohio State University.
