Anna Loss

Anna Loss is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in wetland science and natural resources management. Currently serving as a Senior Environmental Scientist and Project Manager at VHB since May 2021, Anna previously held positions as a Natural Resources Specialist and Wetlands Scientist at BEM Systems, Inc., and as a Natural Resources Scientist II at Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc. Expertise includes compliance with various environmental regulations from agencies such as the United States Army Corps of Engineers and state departments across the Northeast and South. International experience encompasses work in Mexico and the United Arab Emirates focused on marsh and sand dune preservation. Educational credentials include a degree in Soil Science from North Carolina State University and further studies in Project Management at the University of California, Davis, along with certifications in Geographic Information Systems from Penn State University and a degree in Environmental Earth Science from Eastern Connecticut State University.
