Carlos Vargas

Carlos Vargas is an experienced landscape architect and certified arborist currently serving as Chief of Design and Senior Coastal Project Manager at VHB since September 2015, leading the Northeast Region Landscape Architecture Team. Prior to this role, Carlos worked at Gibney Design Landscape Architecture PC from June 2005 to August 2015 as an Associate, managing and designing a diverse range of projects, including municipal, commercial, and ecological restoration initiatives. Carlos also gained experience at Bergmann Associates and LaGuardia Design as a landscape architect intern, contributing to various project types and assisting in design and construction documentation. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University, earned in 2003, and graduated with honors from East Hampton High School in 1999.
