Lourenço Dantas

Lourenço Dantas is a seasoned professional in transportation planning and operations, currently serving as a Project Manager, Team Leader, and Associate at VHB since May 2018. Dantas specializes in real estate development, guiding clients in enhancing mobility infrastructure while ensuring collaboration with municipalities. Previously, Dantas managed the MPO Certification Activities Group at the Central Transportation Planning Staff from November 2015 to May 2018, leading federal certification processes and advising senior management on strategic initiatives. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Transportation Planner and Project Manager at the Massachusetts Port Authority and as a Transportation Planner at CTPS and the North Central Texas Council of Governments. Dantas holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation Studies) from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
