Vaughn Murria

Vaughn Murria, MPA, SHRM-SCP, CDE, is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in human resources and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Currently serving as the Regional Director and Human Resources Business Partner at VHB, Vaughn previously held senior roles at the United Hospital Fund of New York, including VP of Human Resources and Chief DEI Officer, where Vaughn designed and implemented the organization’s first DEI program and launched its inaugural employee engagement survey. At the Manhattan Borough President's Office, Vaughn focused on enhancing the talent pool and improving the quality of new hires. Prior experience at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital included developing a hospital-wide service excellence program and an award-winning leave of absence process. Vaughn holds a Master of Public Administration with a specialization in Human Resources Management from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Binghamton University.
