John LeRosen is a Partner responsible for originating and executing transactions, working with management teams to reach objectives, and ultimately realizing investments. Prior to joining Vance Street in 2015, Mr. LeRosen was the Chief Financial Officer of Avalon Laboratories, a private equity-owned medical device manufacturer of specialty medical tubing. Prior to Avalon Laboratories, Mr. LeRosen held two separate roles at American Capital, most recently focused on investing in medical components and devices, specialty manufacturing, life sciences and industrial technology companies. During Mr. LeRosen’s initial role at American Capital, he was responsible for leading and managing over 40 pre-investment due diligence engagements, managing the “mark-to-market” valuation process for portfolio investments and monitoring portfolio investments. Mr. LeRosen previously served on the Board of Directors for Value Plastics, Avalon Laboratories, Pasternack Enterprises and ECA Medical Instruments. Mr. LeRosen began his career at KPMG performing financial audits as a certified public accountant. Mr. LeRosen graduated summa cum laude from James Madison University with a BBA with an emphasis in Accounting.
Mr. LeRosen currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Motion Dynamics, Jet Parts, Applied Plastics, Wytech Industries and Excel Scientific.
