Rustey Emmet is a Partner primarily responsible for managing and executing financial due diligence for new investments and portfolio company add-on acquisitions, as well as working with and mentoring portfolio company management teams in the areas of accounting and financial reporting. Prior to joining Vance Street in 2018, Mr. Emmet was a Director at CTS Capital Advisors, a boutique financial advisory and consulting firm. While at CTS, Mr. Emmet focused on leading quality of earnings analysis and served as an interim CFO for many private equity clients at their portfolio companies. Prior to CTS, Mr. Emmet was a Senior Vice President at American Capital, where he was a member of the Financial Analysis and Consulting Team. Prior to American Capital, he was the CFO of Falke, Inc, a general contractor primarily focused on interior commercial construction. Mr. Emmet began his career at Watkins Meegan (now Cohn Reznick) performing financial audits as a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Emmet graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS in Accounting.
Mr. Emmet currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Plastic Design Corporation, Polara, Terra Insights, Applied Plastics and Wytech Industries.
