Alexander Gibson

Alexander Gibson is an experienced professional in environmental science with a focus on marine research and management. Currently serving as an Assistant Director at the Directors Guild of Canada since June 2019, Alexander also holds positions as a Researcher at Ocean Wise and a Microplastic Researcher at Vancouver Aquarium, where responsibilities include researching microplastics and authoring scientific reports. Previous roles include logistics at CARO Analytical Services, guest services supervision at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre, and various positions in fuel management across marine facilities. Alexander holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from Simon Fraser University, completed in 2015.
