Jennifer Parks is an experienced Recreation Therapist with a background in planning and implementing therapeutic recreation programs for diverse populations, including women in recovery, older adults with complex medical conditions, and individuals with severe dementia. Currently employed at Vancouver Coastal Health since November 2022, Jennifer also serves as a Recreation Therapist at the Provincial Health Services Authority's Heartwood Centre for Women. Previous roles include supervising recreation therapy assistants, conducting leisure assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in various healthcare settings. Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from Douglas College and is pursuing an Associate's degree in Psychology.
