Reza Nezami has a rich work experience starting as a Device-driver developer at Matrox Graphics Inc in 2000. Reza then moved on to Electronic Arts Inc as a Software Engineer where they worked on FIFA Rendering Team. Later, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at SlantSix Games Inc, then Piranha Games, and WordLogic Corporation. Subsequently, they were a Lead Faculty at The Art Institute of Vancouver, followed by a role as a Core-Media team Lead at Avigilon. Reza ventured into teaching at LaSalle College, Vancouver and then became the Head of Computer Systems Technology Department at Vancouver Community College (VCC). Currently, they are a Sessional Computer Science Lecturer at Simon Fraser University. Reza'sexperience spans from system engineering in gaming industry to software development and teaching.
Reza Nezami holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Tehran (1992-1996), a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick (1995-1998), and a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of New Brunswick (1997-2000). Reza also obtained a certification in Leadership Foundations from LinkedIn in 2017.
