Brian Oliver

Brian Oliver has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Brian is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at the Vancouver Convention Centre since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Sales at The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver from June 2022 to April 2023. Brian also has experience as a Sales Manager at both the Vancouver Convention Centre from January 2020 to June 2022 and the Pinnacle Harbourfront Hotel Vancouver from February 2017 to January 2020. Brian worked as an Event Sales Executive at the Guinness Storehouse from June 2015 to January 2017. Brian also has experience in various roles at the Galway Bay Hotel from March 2007 to June 2015, including Sales Executive, Assistant Manager, and Various Food & Beverage Positions. Lastly, they worked as a Conference & Banqueting Supervisor at QHotels in 2012.

Brian Oliver earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management from Atlantic Technological University in 2013. Prior to that, they completed a three-year Bachelor's degree in Hotel & Catering Management from the same institution, from 2010 to 2013.
