Elizabeth Wright

Elizabeth Wright has extensive experience in library management and systems services, currently serving as the Systems Services Manager at Vancouver Island Regional Library since June 2005. In this role, Elizabeth oversees the ILS administration for Innovative and SirsiDynix suites, and has led significant projects including self-checkout replacements and ILS migration. In addition, Elizabeth managed seven extension branches and coordinated the digitization of library policies and procedures. Prior to VIRL, Elizabeth held various positions including Reference/Web Project and Automation Librarian at the Vancouver School Board and Customer Services Librarian at the BC Legislative Library. Educational qualifications include an MLIS from the University of Western Ontario, a Library Technician degree from Seneca College, and a BA in Drama and English from McMaster University.
