Gina Parcels

Gina Parcels is currently serving as a Library Client Services Assistant at Vancouver Island University and as a Library Assistant at Vancouver Island Regional Library since January 2023. Gina has extensive experience in the library sector, having held positions such as Vice President at Island Mobile Welding and Yellow Sheet Construction Data + Analytics, Office Administrator at Attridge Contracting Ltd, and Acquisitions Technician at Camosun College. Earlier roles include Library Assistant at Sto:lo Research and Resource Management Centre and Library Technician at the University of the Fraser Valley. Gina's educational background includes a Diploma in Library and Information Science from the University of the Fraser Valley and a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Gina is currently pursuing further education at Bow Valley College, expected to complete in November 2024.
