Karen Collins MA(DEM) ABCP CRM SAS-AP is a seasoned professional in emergency planning and management with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as Manager of the Emergency Planning Unit at Vancouver Police Department since July 2018, Karen also works as a Fatality Management Subject Matter Expert since December 2004, developing strategies for mass fatality response and education. As a dedicated member of the BC Forensic Odontology Response Team, Karen focuses on logistics and training, while also imparting knowledge as a part-time instructor at the Justice Institute of British Columbia and the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
