Tom Alexander

Tom Alexander has over 25 years of experience in project management and systems analysis within the public safety and emergency communications sectors. Currently serving as a Project Manager/Systems Analyst at the Vancouver Police Department since June 2018, Tom has previously held roles such as Manager of PRIME-BC Projects at E-Comm 9-1-1 from March 2014 to June 2018, where management of significant system upgrades and re-architecting projects was undertaken. As a Project Manager at the Vancouver Police Department from 2011 to 2014, Tom led procurement and installation projects aimed at enhancing technological security. Prior to that, Tom worked as a Senior Programmer/Analyst at Versaterm Inc. from 1998 to 2011, focusing on technical support and business analysis for BC's PRIME-BC initiative. Tom holds a Diploma in Computer Science from Cégep Heritage College, obtained between 1995 and 1998.
