Patricia MacNeil

Patricia MacNeil, MPA, APR, is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in various roles across public and non-profit sectors. Patricia currently serves as the Director of Communications for the Vancouver School Board since April 2018. Prior roles include Communications Manager at the Provincial Health Services Authority, managing communications for agencies such as BC Children's Hospital and BC Women's Hospital, and serving as Interim Senior Director of Communications for the City of Vancouver. Patricia's experience also encompasses managerial positions at TransLink, Port Metro Vancouver, and the Government of Ontario. Educationally, Patricia holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Relations & Communications from Nova Scotia Community College, alongside a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of King's College/Dalhousie University. Additionally, Patricia is accredited in Public Relations by the Canadian Public Relations Society.
