Serena Li

Education Assistant at Vancouver School Board

Serena Li is an experienced education and support professional with a strong background in working with children and families. Currently serving as an Education Assistant at Vancouver School Board since September 2020, Serena also works as a Residential Support Worker at WJS Canada and has been a Tutor at Penpals Montessori Children's House & Education Centre since September 2013. Previous roles include Behaviour Interventionist and Respite Care Worker in a self-employed capacity, as well as a 1:1 Support Worker at Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House. Serena has also contributed as an Editor Assistant for the Family Science Review at the UBC Department of Sociology and served as the Interim Executive Director for the Social Diversity for Children Foundation. Serena holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Sciences and Family Studies from The University of British Columbia, attained in 2018.
