David Irvine

Dave Irvine is a seasoned soccer development professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the sport. Since March 2007, Dave has been with Vancouver Whitecaps FC, serving in multiple capacities including Senior Director of Soccer Development and Director of Academy Operations. Prior to this, Dave held the position of Technical Director and Head Coach at Surrey Football Club from July 2006 to April 2009, and has also contributed to BC Soccer and the Canadian Soccer Association in coaching and development roles. Dave's educational background includes diplomas in Coaching and Physical Education Teaching from Douglas College and a diploma in Coaching from the National Coaching Institute, signifying a strong foundation in both practical and theoretical aspects of sports education.
