Sarita Patel

Sarita Patel is an accomplished sports reporter currently working with Vancouver Whitecaps FC since March 2021. With a rich background in journalism and community engagement, Sarita also serves as an Administrative Executive for HerMark Canada, a non-profit organization that hosts annual summits for young female leaders and athletes. Previous roles include New Reporter at Castanet Media, Reporter/Videojournalist at Bell Media, and Story Editor at TSN. Sarita's diverse experience encompasses hosting and producing community programs, field reporting for high school sports, and enhancing guest experiences with the Toronto Blue Jays. Educationally, Sarita holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Development Studies from the University of Waterloo and a degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting with a focus on Sports Broadcasting from the College of Sports Media.
