Derek Potter

Derek Potter, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Derek began their career at Delphi, where they held multiple supervisory roles in assembly manufacturing and production scheduling. Derek then advanced to the position of Sr. Human Resources Representative. Derek transitioned to Tenneco, where they served as a Human Resources Representative, Production Area Manager, and eventually as an Operations Manager. Currently, Derek holds the position of Director of Human Resources at Vandalia Rental.

Derek Potter, PHR, SHRM-CP holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business - Human Resources Management from Western Governors University. In addition, they have obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in June 2014 and the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in July 2015. Derek also holds a certification of Certified Labor Relations Professional, obtained from Michigan State University.
