Alexander Langerman has extensive experience in the field of head and neck surgery. Alexander served as a Head and Neck Surgeon at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where they specialized in oncologic surgery and microvascular reconstruction. Alexander has expertise in minimally invasive techniques such as transoral robotic surgery and major resections involving free tissue transfer. Alexander had particular clinical interests in various conditions including parotid gland tumors, airway reconstruction, and salivary gland disease. Prior to their role at Vanderbilt, they were a surgeon and researcher at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where they also directed the Operative Performance Research Institute.
