Amy Schoeny has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and organizational development. Amy is currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since April 2021. Prior to this role, Amy held various positions at Advocate Health Care, including Vice President of Compensation & HR Administration and Vice President of Learning Institutes, starting in 2012. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as the System VP of Total Rewards at Advocate Aurora Health. Amy also worked at Rush University Medical Center as the Director of Talent Management from 2011 to 2012. Before that, they served as the VP of Human Resources at Witt/Kieffer from 2006 to 2010. Amy began their career at Advocate Health Care in 1997, holding several roles including Vice President of Organizational Development, Director of O.D. Systems, Manager of Management Planning, and Management Selection Consultant.
Amy Schoeny received their BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 1992. Amy pursued further studies and earned a PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology from DePaul University in 1997.
