Chief Operating Officer, Children's Ambulatory Services at Vanderbilt University Medical Center

Chris Lee currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Children's Ambulatory Services at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since October 2016, overseeing practice operations with a focus on enhancing patient care through efficient ambulatory systems. Concurrently, Chris has held the position of Associate VMG Director at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital since April 2008, where responsibilities include integrating strategies for children's clinics and managing capacity growth. Prior experience includes serving as Administrative Director for Children's Ambulatory Services at MCG Health, Inc. from 2003 to 2008, directing pediatric services with significant operational oversight, and as CEO of Tattnall Community Hospital from 2001 to 2003, where leadership was pivotal in a successful turnaround of a struggling healthcare facility. Chris holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Birmingham-Southern College.
