VP Supply Chain Operations at Vanderbilt University Medical Center

Karen Morlan has over 20 years of experience in supply chain operations and management. Karen currently holds the position of VP Supply Chain Operations at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since January 2019. In this role, they provide overall leadership for the supply chain department, develops goals and policies, and monitors department objectives.

Prior to their current role, Karen worked at Cape Fear Valley Health System for 12 years. Karen served as the Director of Purchasing from August 1995 to June 2007, leading sourcing efforts and managing the Supply Chain Value Analysis program. Karen Morlan earned their Bachelor's degree in Business from Campbell University in 2001. Karen then went on to complete their MBA at Walden University from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their degrees, they obtained the CMRP certification in 2013.
