Alex Sevilla, Ed.D., serves as the Vice Provost for Career Advancement & Engagement and the Evans Family Executive Director of the Career Center at Vanderbilt University, leading initiatives to enhance career outcomes for students. Sevilla possesses extensive experience in higher education, previously holding the role of Associate Dean & Director of the Heavener School of Business at the University of Florida, where contributions included strategic operations and innovation across undergraduate programs. Additional roles include Assistant Dean and MBA Program Director, where oversight of multiple MBA programs resulted in significant improvements in student satisfaction and placement rates. Sevilla has also served as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and held leadership positions at the University of Miami.
