Doug Adams

Doug Adams currently serves as the Executive Director of the Institute of National Security at Vanderbilt University, where additional roles include Daniel F Flowers Professor and Distinguished Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Vice Dean of Engineering, and Associate Provost in the Office of Research. Prior to this position, Doug Adams spent over a decade at Purdue University, holding titles such as Kenninger Professor of Renewable Energy & Power Systems, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Doug Adams earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
