Research Assistant, Program In Climate And Environmental Studies at Vanderbilt University

Eleanor Crone is an undergraduate student at Vanderbilt University, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy and Climate Studies with a Minor in Earth and Environmental Science. Currently serving as a Research Assistant in the Program in Climate and Environmental Studies, Eleanor conducts research on local opposition to solar energy projects. Throughout previous roles, Eleanor has collaborated on projects focusing on carbon-offsetting and food equity, engaged in environmental health legislation, and led a fossil fuel divestment campaign. Experience includes internships at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, Connecticut League of Conservation Voters, and Environmental Voter Project, along with previous work in retail, GIS mapping, and youth advocacy. Additionally, Eleanor participated in a study abroad program in Samoa focusing on Social and Environmental Change.
